Who We Hire
We’re looking for talented M.B.A. students who demonstrate:
- Strong leadership potential.
- Solid business and marketing acumen.
- Sound analytical skills.
- Flexibility in learning and exploring a variety of business areas.
You’ll need:
- At least three years of relevant work experience.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. (not contingent on approval from your school or the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency).
- An M.B.A. currently in progress and demonstrated academic success.
What You'll Do
If you’re selected for the two-year graduate development program, you’ll complete:
- Three assignments overall, each customized to your development needs and career aspirations.
- Two six-month assignments, one in the global/enterprise arena and one in the customer-facing/brand arena.
- A 12-month retail assignment designed to provide retail sales and management skills to help you build deeper knowledge of Chevron’s retail or franchise operations.
Global/enterprise assignments can include:
- Business planning
- Downstream strategy
- Pricing
- Competitive information
Customer-facing/brand assignments can include:
- Brand management
- Franchising
- Merchandising
- Promotions
Summer internships (10 to 12 weeks in length) are available in global/enterprise and customer-facing/brand arena. Internships are not available in retail.
Where You'll Work
Your starting rotation will be in our world headquarters in San Ramon, California. Depending on your development goals and Chevron’s business needs, future assignments may be domestic or global.
